Some of the outfits Ashlynn ends up in some days are really quite interesting and make her look like a homeless child. She loves to put beanies on and she has so much hair it's almost always messy. And she likes to walk around in my shoes. So when you put all those together...you get one goofy looking child. But we still love her :)

I Love To See The Temple...

We were in St. George for an afternoon and decided to walk around the temple ground. It was a beautiful day.

Danny told Ashlynn to give mom a kiss. She literally pulled my whole head towards her and gave me a nice slobbery open mouth kiss

The horse

I bought this cheap little pink horse at a consignment shop here in Parowan for $3.00. Lets just say she loves it dearly :) And now that she has learned how to get rockin in it really well she loves it even more :)

She is also extreamly proud of it... :)

Funny girl

We had a fly one night who couldn't fly. It was crawling across the floor and ashlynn squated and watched that fly for a looong time.








When I told her to touch it....she would squeel and give me these faces :) It was pretty entertaining.

January

Occasionally we enjoy going over to circleville to have a night away from home.  So a few weekends ago Danny's nephews were staying over at his moms house for the weekend.  It was fun to see them and play games.  One of the games was Jenga.  I don't remember ever playing Jenga seriously and we realized it is an entertaining game.  We also got pretty good at it.  We learned you do a lot better if you don't take any middle pieces.  One round we got 27 high!! I thought it was a record.

We took Ashlynn out to see the cows.  I've come to the conclusion that she's already sorta a girly girl.  She would whine when we told her to pet the cows and she wouldn't really go near them.

Snow Canyon

Over the Christmas break we had to make a trip to St. George to ship a package to my sister. so we figured we should make good use of our time. We went to Snow Canyon, somewhere that I've never really spent much time. It's amazing all the things southern Utah has to offer and how I still have not experienced it all. Snow Canyon is seriously like an hour away and it's beautiful! who knew. Danny and I will definitly have to take some bikes down too and go riding. We've never gone biking before together but I think it'd be a good place to start. It also gave Danny a chance to take a whole lotta picture with the new camera. Just as a followup from my last post about our camera we got a Nikon 5100. He is much better at using all the functions on it and getting some cool pictures. I'm really good at using the auto button... :)
